Premium Remote control is a remote access and support software integrated in the Avast Business Hub security platform that allows IT administrators to provide instant remote support to their users — anytime, anywhere. With this tool, IT admins can quickly and securely initiate on-demand remote support sessions to remotely access files and applications, and help troubleshoot issues in real time – saving time and money.

Avast Business Premium Remote Control uses the RSA 2048/4096-bit public/private key exchange to negotiate symmetrical AES 256-bit end-to-end encryption to protect the data transfer between the local and remote computer.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for help desk technicians and IT professionals and makes unauthorized access much harder. With 2FA enabled, an operator must provide a second factor (a one-time passcode) in addition to their password to log into the Avast Business Hub successfully.

When the admin tries to remotely connect to the device, the end user will need to approve the connection. If the user is not logged in on the device, the IT admin will land on the OS login page. Without the credentials or the user accepting the connection, the IT admin will not be able to access the device.
